So, now that we’ve come up with a fancy reboot title… all we need is a crazy cast? Nah, still just me.

But I did want to give a little bit of an explanation for my ‘absence’ here… these past weeks.

Now let’s start this with me admitting to being a typical fat nerd… the reason I admit this is because it’s a pretty big factor in what has happened here. I was BADLY out of shape, and I’m still out of shape… so when, about 2 months ago, I got a fairly physical job(involving a lot of moderately heavy lifting, a fair bit of walking, dragging, moving, etc.)… it hit me completely by surprise. I have been completely dead tired nearly every evening for the past 2 months. To add to that, I’ve been dealing with some pretty rough times at home – marital issues, family issues, and others. When exhausted to the extent that I’ve been, those types of issues tend to take any drive out of you. And to just drive the nail into the coffin, so to speak, I’ve injured myself several times since I started this job, ranging from a huge cut in my index finger to hitting my shin enough to give me a bruise the size of a toonie on my leg, to wrenching my shoulder badly enough that I could barely keep my arm straight to type.

Now, I want to apologize, because none of this should have meant I did my fans such a disservice as not writing for you guys, but it did. I tried to write, but nothing came out. I think I’m starting to get used to the job, and the family and marital issues are starting to clear up, and most of my injuries are gone… so I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. I can’t promise you a deluge of articles… but I can promise you that I’ll do my best to get you some more quality content – because I’ve missed writing for those of you who read this and I hope you’ve missed reading it. I have a few pieces I’m working on, and a few ideas for some other articles that will hopefully take shape soon… so please, be patient with me. I’m working on it! I promise!

I’ve been having the weeks from hell… and I haven’t really been able to type or post lately. It started off with a nasty index finger injury that required stitches and a finger-cast for most of a week, then my job started becoming completely exhausting, and to finish that off it ended with a really nasty bout of food poisoning. However, I’m starting to recover from the illness and injury, so I should be able to get back on track and will be starting to do some writing again. Thank you for your patience everyone and I’m truly sorry for not being able to write for this long!

So right as I was starting to get some writing done I’ve injured my hand making it near-impossible to type. Should be recovered by next week, but there won’t be any new articles until Monday at the earliest. Sorry folks.
